What is SoftWave Therapy?

SoftWave Therapy is a treatment that in certain instances has been helpful as an alternative to surgery to treat musculoskeletal and soft tissue conditions.

This technology delivers short, frequent, and high-intensity bursts of mechanical energy into the soft tissues that require healing. It can address injuries, scars, adhesions, and areas that are painful and/or inflamed.

SoftWave has shown to support tissue regeneration and the activation of stem cells.

    FAQs

Read through our frequently asked questions to learn more about this special offer and this therapy. If you have questions, please reach out.

    • Is SoftWave Therapy painful?

Most describe the experience of receiving SoftWave Therapy as a tingling sensation. However, some may feel mild discomfort during the treatment, which is mostly tolerable for the short duration of the treatment.

    • Are there any side effects with SoftWaveTherapy?

Most patients can return to their daily activities following treatment. We recommend that you avoid high-impact movements or exercise for 24-48 hours after treatment. You may have soreness 2-4 hours after a treatment, but it is common to otherwise experience a decrease in pain in the affected area.

    • Can SoftWave Therapy be used with other treatments?

We find SoftWave Therapy works well combining it with our other modalities. There is often a synergistic effect by combining more than one modality. If we determine a particular modality might be supportive, we can discuss those recommendations.

    • Is SoftWave Therapy safe for everyone?

SoftWave Therapy is safe for most patients. However, there are restrictions for certain patients, specifically those who are pregnant, have a pacemaker, or have cancer. If you have questions if you’d be a candidate for SoftWave, don’t hesitate to reach out.
